AGITATIONAL PROGRAMME

 

National Steering Committee of United Forum to launch a programme of action seeking early settlement of National JCM Items. Notice served to the CMD on 05.07.2006 by all the Forum Associates.

 

Following issues highlighted.

 

Ø     Anomaly Committee: Report submitted in October 2005.

Ø     Civil Wing Committee: Report submitted in May 2005.

Ø     Committee on Uniform not submitted its report, last meeting held six months back.

 

Following Demands Unattended:

 

Ø     Five Promotions.

Ø     Pay Scale of cable Splicer & Drivers.

Ø     Pay Scale of Sr. TOAS.

Ø     TTA – Pay Fixation, OTBP/BCR/Grade IV.

 

The following demands notified :

 

1.   Implementation of decisions taken/issues discussed in National Council meetings.

 

a.    Framing of Standing Orders.

b.   Restorations of powers of CGMs to create new posts.

c.    Removal of discrimination between industrial and non-industrial workers.

d.    Refund of        CGEGIS to BSNL Employees.

e.    Free Calls on concession telephones to BSNL Employees in MTNL area in Delhi and Mumbai.

f.     Pay up gradation of Group ‘C’ & ‘D’ Cadres of Corporate Office.

g.   Shifting of Corporate Office from Statesman House to BSNL Building.

2.   Implementation of Committee Reports.

a.   Anomaly Committee

b.   Civil Wing Committee.

c.   Uniform Committee report to be finalized in consultation with staff side members.

3.   Discussion to start on the following Committees:

 

a.   5 Promotion Committee.

b.   Pay scale of Cable Splicer & Motor Driver.

c.   Pay scale of Sr. TOAs.

d.   TTA – Pay Fixation and OTBP/BCR/Grade IV.

e.   Pay scale of Grade IV.

f.     Pay scale of Telecom Mechanic.

4.   Settle the following long pending issues.

 

a.   Regularization of casual labours.

b.   Corporate Office issues,

c.   Sr. Accountant / Jr. Accountant Promotions.

d.   Holding of examinations- JAO Part I, II, JTO etc.

e.   Recruitment of staff.

f.     II option to BSNL.

g.   Grant of Circle status to Council in Corporate Office.

 

AGITIOATIONAL PROGRAMMES:

 

a.                Lunch Hour demonstration in front of all offices / exchanges on 25^th July 2006.

b.               Hunger Strike by National Council Staff Side members in front of Corporate Office on 17^th August 2006.

c.                Hunger Strike at all Circle and SSA Head Quarters on the same day i.e. on 17^th August 2006.

 

All the General Secretaries of United Forum endorsed the Notice.

 

Since I am proceeding to attend AIC at Vellore from 14.7.06, there shall be no upgradation till 24.7.06. Please bear with us.
