1.     DR. HRD BSNL informs that bonus for this year will be payed before pooja  holidays asusual. The amount will not be less than what we received last year.

2.     Wrist watches as memento on the five year completion of BSNL will be given to all BSNL executives and non-executives. The distribution may start in October 2006.

3.     G.S – FNTO attended BSNLEU seminar at Calicut on 22^nd August 2006 and spoke on how to meet the challenges before BSNL. He also addressed the CWC and informed their members that unless the disputes and irritations in 6 or 7 circles (particularly where FNTO in majority) are redressed, it would be difficult for FNTO to continue the alliance. G.S also sought the cooperation of BSNLEU to get limited trade union facilities including check off for FNTO as per CMP and alliance agreement, pointing out that no sincere effort has been taken by BSNLEU so far. Comrade Namboodri G.S, BSNLEU assured that he would do his best to sort out these issues at the earliest.

4.     Today, FNTO has filed application for participation in the 3 rd verification.

5.     Bangalore district FNTO held demonstration on 21-8-06 demanding cancellation of pick and choose transfers. Circle secretary Karnataka, District Secretary Bangalore and other office bearers met the PGM Bangalore who assured that the transfers will be kept in abeyance. CHQ congratulates BG FNTO.

6.     BSNL HQ issued order No:15-8/2006-PAT(BSNL) Dated 23.8.06 for grant of perks to executive Employees in BSNL, effective from 01.01.2005.
